JJ Wrapz takes vinyl wrapping seriously and we want to make sure your vinyl wrap is done professionally for prolonged use over the years, we also strive to keep our customers happy with our services. However there are certain things that are out of our control. Which is why we want to make sure you know how to properly care for your autofilm vinyl wrap.
For all car wrapping services, we offer a 90 day guarantee on your wrap for any peeling or lifting. Should this happen within this time frame after your vehicle has been wrapped, please contact us immediately so we can assess the situation and have you come in for a repair/fix of the area. This guarantee does not include rock chips or tears due to wear on the road.
Any lifting or peeling after this time frame is by review only, we cannot guarantee a full repair or replacement as it will depend on the situation.
CARE + TREATMENT
Like any custom detailing on your vehicle it is the responsibility of the customer to care for their vehicle when they take the time to invest in this service, and also please note that vinyl is not paint. It's a much more affordable service alternative to paint.
Vinyl wrapping is not meant to be permanent, it's life span varies from 3-7 years depending on how you treat your vehicle, the weather and of course unforeseen accidents. To prolong the wear of your vinyl wrap we do recommend both a 3M/PFF protection and ceramic coating as this will prevent high stress areas of your vehicle to be protected from rock chips or tears.
In order to prolong the wear of your vinyl it is very important that you treat the surface carefully when washing. Do not use any car wash brushes on the surface as this can cause scratches to the vinyl that cannot be repaired. Microfiber cloths are best for tough cleaning spots.
Given that we are a based in Edmonton, AB and we do get very cold winters with sometimes plenty of snow, it's very crucial that you wash your vehicle regularly from any salt build up. As well if your vehicle is parked outdoors 24/7 we cannot guarantee your vinyl to last as long, as the cold can cause shrinking and as a result you can end up with peeling.
